Bad goaltending, dumb pinch by the captain in a 1 goal game (poor cover by Lindholm).

Meh, this game should be of the 'take the point and move on' but that's harder to do with how they laid eggs and camout empty handed vs crap teams like the habs and sens before the break....

This one's on the coach.

- I don't care if we're playing tomorrow. Worry about winning tonight first. Talbot should have been pulled in the second, end of story.

- Money should have been on the ice for that OT PP. Franchise leader in OT goals, and had 2 PPGs tonight. He should have been the first one over the boards for that faceoff.

Everyone can whine about Talbot but the Powerplay in OT should have been game over.

Binnington ended up being the difference though, lot of great saves.

A good warm up for tomorrow, I suppose. Flames should hit the ground running, while the grease will be finding their legs. Take advantage early.

Take the point and run. Flames were likely an offside challenge away from a regulation loss.

They won’t play an opponent this strong tomorrow night.

They definitely did enough to win. How many bad goals allowed? A couple at least.

The team didn't play as confident after the offside non goal scare. They let off a bit I felt.

Talbot was hot garbage. Flames were both lucky to get a point (thanks posts and offside call) and unlucky to not get two (thanks Talbot). Flames were the better team in the first two periods by a decent margin, but were outplayed in the third.

Oscar also had a rough night. Poor decisions all over the place.

That was a fun game, really liked what most of the team brought against a good team. Talbot had a rough night and he knew it.

Continue that play tomorrow with BSD in net and Oilers gonna in trouble!

Keep playing Buddy he deserves more looks.

Crush the Oilers tomorrow (and Saturday) and all is forgiven.

Still a fun game to watch. Hopefully the leagues comes to it's senses and eliminates the SO. Just add another 5 minutes to the overtime.

Easily should have been a regulation win

Geoff Ward trying to be smarter than everyone else starting Talbot over Rittich coming off the break.

Zero sense. Always play your #1 on the first night of a back-to-back. Especially when it's against the defending champs and the best team in the West.

Meh. We got one more point than I thought we would. Talbot hadn't played since the 11th. Not surprised he was weak. Oh well. Good to see life from our best players. On to Edmonton.

Coming off a huge break and they showed up. That is so much more than we can say in recent memory. Add that they started well and kept it up? Positives, and encouraging despite the loss.

They should be motivated, not deflated, heading into dumpster city tomorrow.

First loss of the year I blame squarely on goaltending. Talbot was truly terrible tonight. Otherwise I was impressed with how the team played, although Johnny was pretty disappointing once again.
