I hope Tre sells Hamonic at the deadline regardless of position in standings... already has one foot hovering off the cliff from the looks of that 1st period.
It is at this point in time addition by subtraction.

Chucky was the forward. Went to the middle leaving his side open.

For sure. But the Flames were 2-for-2 on the PP so you just know the refs are looking for anything.

A good period, notwithstanding the score. Just gotta keep the Blue more to the perimeter.

Tell me what he did wrong. I thought he was pretty solid in his own end, got burned and turnover that turned into a two on one because a foreword went the wrong way and Hanifin lost his guy. And even then it should have been saved. Talbot needed to cover. So unless you blame him for the last goal because he took a penalty, I don’t see the reason to be down on him.

Buddy looked fine out there, that line was fast and nasty on the boards.

Because he's been hot garbage all season long. I think AC could even make a video on how many times the puck has gone in off of his stick or skate throughout his time here. And these goals bite us in the butt EVERY time.
In this game we were up 2-1 with a minute and a half left, then some lackluster play on his side of the ice and then a stupid cross checking penalty (which was rather weak but still called on him) has costed us the lead once more.

Let’s stick to facts about the game, not whatever has happened “all season”. The second goal wasn’t lacklustre play. He played it right - Hanfin’s guy scored and Tkachuk’s guy made the pass. And either the call was weak or it’s a stupid penalty - pick one. And it’s “cost”. Not “costed”.

His guy scored goal #2. Blues scored goal #3 while he was in the penalty box.
Those are my reasons. You see things differently. You praised him for some great defensive plays that we would miss. I saw nothing great, just routine plays that any D is supposed to make.

Just so we're clear, when the puck goes to the forward on Hamonic's side you'd rather him just leave that player open to shoot the puck?
If he did that and the Blue scored some people on here would freak out on him for not covering his man. He can't be two places at once. He made the right play.

Just started watching. Backlund's line has some jump. Robinson faster than I would have thought.
