Except our player is good, and their's barely makes any of the rosters in the NHL. Doesn't make either totally clean, and I guess technically he is on their 1st line"snicker". But the difference in out-rage between here and there, especially since Kassian IS the bad guy here. Not because he's no good. But that was a vicious attack on a legal play.

Tkachuk: Violent Hockey

Kassian: Something you do during "The Purge".

I highly doubt Lucic does a damn thing. But he’s got 20 plus pounds on Kassian. Kassian shouldn’t fight him I guess.

But to be serious they are friends. I’d bet money that Lucic does nothing.

Maybe Lucic fights Smith again. I was at that game and I’m going to the Jan 29th game.

Lucic has already said friendships take a backseat.

Tkachuk is family now. Kassian has to answer for his horse collaring. Caveman is going to get his head caved in. Like he deserves for his cheap crap. Time to answer the bell.

McDavid can fight Tkachuk for his predatory hit from behind.

Everybody wins.

If I’m being paid 6 million dollars a year to protect my team mates this means nothing. I’ll buy him a beer after I beat his ass. You may very well be right that they don’t fight but I can guarantee you if they don’t it has nothing to do with them being friends. Many of the fighters left in the league are friends it doesn’t stop them from doing their jobs.

And to be honest, who are you more likely to get competitive and heated with in a contact sport? Some random? Or your friend who you know how to get on each other nerves. Playing sports growing up it was always my friends I battled and got into it the hardest with personally.

I'm hoping that if something goes down, Bennett is on the ice and beats the #### out of McDavid

I doubt it but ok. You can have your opinion.

I mean you want Lucic to do what you’re all upset about Kassian doing. Lucic will come out with a whole lot of nothing.

However It’d be interesting to put the lineup of players from both teams up against each other in order from toughest to least toughest. Like if everyone grabbed their right partner in a bench clearing brawl. Obviously Lucic is the toughest guy on the ice. Who’s second on the Flames?

No, I'd just take a fight. No need for Lucic to horsecollar and try to "Bertuzzi" him.

Rinaldo.

Then Bennett, Hamonic, Gio. Andersson seems like he’ll get in some scraps at some point.

Who’s after Kassian on the Oil right now?

Nah, just ask him if he wants to dance, if he obliges... Awesome. If he doesn't make turtle memes for 2 weeks

How is this still news? It should have died as soon as the Kassian suspension ended only to be brought up again the day of the next BoA. God damn Oiler fans and media are insufferable.

Kassian went full out cheap shots on Matthew. See how well he does against Lucic. Are you saying Kassian shouldn't have to answer the bell for his actions?

I kinda want Chucky to try feed Kassian his lunch and have this be over. It's not like the caveman is a true heavyweight, he's been beat several times. At least it would shut those morons up north up (maybe).

Or is James Neal better then Mathew because his points are 542-246?

I’m not getting into it here, because I don’t care to get into a pissing match. Just it’s not some giant lopsided affair. It’s why tkchuk can crush him with a hit. Same size.
I wasn't getting in to it either.

I was honestly asking if you thought they looked the same size, because during the horse collar session they didn't appear to be even close. I don't tend to trust hockey card stats.

Are we arguing that a guy Edmonton loves to call Turtle only needs more games to catch Kassian in fights?

The reason Tkachuk can legally crush an opposing player of Kassian’s ilk, multiple times, is simple.

Size is irrelevant.

Matt is several levels above Kassian , from an intelligence and awareness viewpoint.

Poor Zack. Unaware! Not smart! No awareness, hence, no self protection. Just dumber than a sack of hammers.

Not a surprising result ....3 times.

Very expected response from an exasperated and embarrassed moron.
