So much this.

The only thing the Flames should be interested in moving someone like Bennett and a maybe a 4th for someone like Anderson or Toffoli.

Never suggested they blow up the team....or even close to it.

Yeah, I don’t know how anyone watches this and thinks that coaching is the issue.

New coach and a new core is the exact thing this team needs

What does 'same group' mean to you? Sure sounds like moving more than one player.

Your words, not mine.

Disagree. Dominating on the shot clock without urgency

My favourite team is boring

Bennett is always at the top of the team in the GAF metre. Even in this game. Why is he always the first that the fanbase wants to trade? Attitude matters. It's 3-0 against Ottawa, because they care and Calgary doesn't, as a group.

If tree wants to move 2nd and 3rd round picks, cool, I get it and I can live with it. We have assets to move at the deadline to recoup or even upgrade the picks if things go south standing wise. But not the 1st. This draft is chalk full of top line talent.

Totally, but this team is gonna be good enough in the standings that there's no way Treliving is gonna be a seller. He's gonna work to bring in offense and hope it pays dividends.

But he NEEDS to do that without futures involved.

The trade involving core pieces like Gaudreau should be done in the off season since the season is done then.

I also think we need to look at one of the available top coaches, the new coach bounce is gone and we have returned to a lazy club.

I think they should get something for both Backlund and Johnny while they can. A good prospect, player and or a high draft pick. I think it would be a good time to try and maximize on those two.

In my opinion even with a move like this, the team is still not a contender. First round exit. Players like Anderson/Toffoli aren’t going to move the needle much.

If we lose this game, the fact we would have had only gotten 2 out of 6 possible points (in which Rittich had to steal two points for us) against teams with 2 wins in 22 games combined while only scoring 1 goal is beyond pathetic

Quite stunning to see a team go from 2nd best offence in the league to bottom 5 in the course if one season.

Yeah, I saw the replay from venture that made it look that way. I wasn’t criticizing Hamonic though. It ended up with three Sens and Hamonic in front of the net.

Sure, it does happen. It happens to the flames a lot. I think it's more of a trend than a chance that they're not scoring. Here's the shot locations from the Toronto game.

Look at how much closer Toronto is to the net on almost all their shots, that's the difference between a high and low offence team.
