Not sure what I'm even watching anymore. Man, this team looked great against the oil and thought they turned a corner.

After watching this team for years, this core is not gonna get a cup. They can play well, really well. They just don't have the mental fortitude to sniff a cup.

We have a choice. Have a good, inconsistent team, or bring in some mentally tougher players.

It's not bad luck. Tons of shots from the high slot and point but no one driving the net and no one moving their feet. Even when they get a zone entry they're always gliding in and pass it to the boards, where they can be safe.

I'm starting to lean towards believing this team needs a significant retooling. Keep Tkachuk, Lindholm, Andersson, Dube and Rittch and try to do something to fix the rest of the team.

They way the Flames enter the zone on the Power play is way to predictable. Skate to red line, drop back to JG...and that's it.

Probably the most easy play to defend against when they know they are going to do it every single time.
