Flames have pretty much scored 1 goal in the last 3 games so far.

This must have been what it was like to be a Leafs fan watching Rittich on Thursday.

What a joke this game has been so far, baffling result. Flames need to make a trade though, the quality chances and conversion vs play they control simply hasn’t been good enough and allows games like this to happen. It will be a problem too when playoffs roll around should they make it.

This team royally pisses me off. I think we as fans sometimes give more of a #### than this collection of players do.

Bennett pulled that from a defenders skates and got a shot. That was a good play, and he’s also the only flame interested in driving the net. Everyone else is on the perimeter.

On that goal, Monahan had his man completely tied up. Backlund was - I don’t know where.

2/6 points on a road trip playing 2 of the worst teams in the NHL is unacceptable by any measure.
This team is 1st round fodder at best.

I can see how he tricked scouts so bad pre draft... everything he does looks so *close* to being awesome. Especially in a prospect context youd probably think "ah yeah this guy will put it together and be amazing" but nope... always a bridesmaid Bennett. Never quite the right play.

We need gallant or Laviolette. How long can Ward just roll the same guys over and over, not touch the personnel on a dreadful pp. You have different guys on different lines going move them around

Ward has to show some ability to make the changes in game which he’s been reluctant to do.
Flames had 32 attempts at net in first period probably another 20 this period vs my guess is 15 in the whole game for the Sens.

Hence the criticism. Needs to be more involved and less extreme perimeter, with much improvement on his work ethic and compete level.

It’s embarrassing that Jankowski is on an NHL roster and Czarnik isn’t.
