I think that's the worst part of this season (never mind that teams I hate are well in the playoff picture).

Losing is one thing.

Losing and regressing is another.

Losing, regressing and doing it in a repeatedly boring fashion is just painful.

My feeling is that I think he just feels now when he gets out there 5 on 5 is that he feels that line is short handed, rightly or wrongly and has to try and do more to create. Stats certainly show it, and watching them try and force things to Backlund and vice versa is awkward.

He’s used to having Lindholm last year and Ferland, who knew where to be to get decent scoring chances and willing to pay the price in those areas to get the chances, where thst isn’t Backlund game by a mile. Again, chemistry and comfort for JG isn’t there with Backlund, and after 6 weeks of this, it’s a feeling that’s probably not going to change.

Sure. I just don't understand the mindset of trading a star player on a sweetheart deal. Then again, I don't understand the embarrassing negative hyperbole posts that always take place in the GT whenever we are trailing a game. We can only hope Flash truly went to do the dishes.
