When I went to watch the Mandalorian finale, the recap portion started playing in German. I double-checked that my settings were all in English. Then I stopped the playback and restarted and it picked up from the same spot but was back in English.

I already know how to speak French but that’s irrelevant, at $8.99/month I think I should have the right to decide what language the opening crawl appears in. Sadly though I imagine there’s probably some fine print in their terms of service where I gave up that right.
Even though I know your post was tongue in cheek I probably chuckled a little more than I should have at French being called a foreign language.

Found a possible solution online which worked for me. Search for "The Last Jedi" using the search in Disney+ and play it from the search results.

Just signed up today and we're really underwhelmed. Is it be abuse we just signed up and the free week is just a taste or is there really not that much on there? I thought agents of shield would be on or the new series about marvel movie heroes would be on there. What's the deal?

You should have access to everything during the free week. If you don't like it for free, you won't like it when you have to pay.
Agents of SHIELD isn't on there yet (I believe it's still part of the Disney-Netflix deal, so it will probably show up sometime this year). The Marvel series are still in production and will be premiering later this year.

Not exactly a Disney+ question, but does anyone know where/how to watch Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted in Canada? That was half the reason I got Disney+, but it appears to be region blocked here.

It’s on StackTV. You have to order it through Amazon Prime. It’s a weird setup but there’s a month trial to check it out.

Agents of Shield is still on Crave, probably until after the last season ends. The Marvel hero's movies are there or a lot are. There are still a bunch on netflix.
Eventually it will all end up there.

Thanks. I could have sworn I saw it somewhere but couldn't find it via google.
Might just use the VPN workaround. Not entirely keen on adding extra subscriptions on top of subscriptions - but I prefer to watch on the TV instead of the PC so maybe I'll do the free month.

More rumblings on the Willow series. Apparently talk is picking up on bringing this movie to Disney+ in the form of a series. This was originally mentioned when the series was first announced but was shelved for the time being.
Willow was one of my favourite movies as a kid, would love to see a series.

What do you use for TV streaming? If it's an Android based device (Shield, Fire Stick) you can load a VPN on it and have it applied only for certain apps

Maybe I'm reading your sentence wrong, but Willow the movie is already on Disney+. Although obviously that doesn't preclude a series.
