I recommend Servant on Apple TV+. It's co-produced by M Knight Shyamalan but he didn't write the script.
"A Philadelphia couple is in mourning after an unspeakable tragedy creates a rift in their marriage and opens the door for a mysterious force to enter their home."
I'm surprised more people aren't talking about this. It's pretty good and the acting in particular is fantastic.
Decided to give Fresh Off The Boat a shot, and it's way better than I was expecting. Asian success perms and the Jewish Chinese boy are the standout episodes so far, though I may be biased having married into an Asian family. How similar Jessica is to my own wife is a little frightening

We have had some eerily similar conversations about: dishwashers, and how hard could the test have been if you got 100% on it.
No surprise to see Anne with an E was cancelled. I thought the first season was a solid update of the source material but wow did it ever turn to crap. They could have learned from Mad Men how to deal with issues of gender, race, and sexuality in a period piece but instead we got an unsubtle hammering of how woke the writers are.
Like GoT this shows the risks of diverging from the source.

Already heard 'You' was bad, particularly the first season but my girlfriend and I still gave it a half decent shot. 7 episodes in and at this point it's just a waste of time to keep going.
Main character isn't one I have any particular feelings for one way or another. Leading lady is just perpetually helpless despite showing the awareness to make changes. All around, the characters are just flat. At one point there was a potentially interesting conflict dynamic but that ended in the dumbest episode ever.
Kim's Convenience has been a fun watch so far.

I would recommend Mindhunter on Netflix, quite compelling
Easily the best series I have watched since True Detective season 1.

My wife showed me a clip of 'You' with the character's internal narration removed and it really hammers home how bad the writing is. He basically spends entire scenes standing around silently with a dumb expression on his face while people talk to him.

Starting binging it again recently after a few years away and going through all of Parks and Rec over the holidays.
One of the few shows that had consistent quality from start to finish. For recent comedies I can only think of Veep and Bojack Horseman that are in the same league
