One of the best commercials really ever made because Pepsi put it out right after Coke released new coke and it created a wave of anti-new coke zealots from the Coke drinkers

i'm definitely all for coke - i just don't like pepsi - never have.
i don't really drink much pop anymore, but when i do i find i prefer coke zero over regular coke (regular coke is soooo sweet.... i think my taste buds must be changing becuz i don't recall it tasting that sweet in the past - who knows?!?).
heh... such a classic:

I don't drink either, but my wife won't drink coke but used to be addicted to Pepsi and now has the occasional one.
She's into Fresca now.
I'd suppose if I did drink either it wouldn't matter which one.
If there's only Pepsi I'll drink it but if I have other options I'm more likely to pick one of those instead. Pepsi seems too weak to me when you compare the two.

Never tried the "zero's" but I can't stand any sugar pop's overpowering my rum!
I'd suggest trying the zeros out. The overpowering taste of Aspartame in diet coke definitely affects the flavor of a rum drink. The Zeros use a combination of sweeteners that creates a far more subtle flavor. You get the flavor without the syrupiness of the regular colas and without the burning Aspartame of the regular diet drinks.
I probably drink 2-3 Coke Zero's a day....really need to cut back on that.

I can't even stand diet drinks when I'm mixing, you lose most of the flavor of the alcohol. My favorite non-beer drink is something I picked up from some Thai friends when I was over there, Johnny Walker and soda water with just a splash of Coke. Get the full flavor of the whiskey with just a little sweetness
Haven't drank pop on a regular basis in a decade. I guess 12-15 years ago I drank a lot of Tonic as G&T was my University drink of choice. But hangovers have always been an issue for me so I've switched to Gin on the rocks or with a splash of water instead.
I do enjoy the occasional Pepsi or Dr Pepper if I've got a sweet tooth from some blazing. So yeah Pepsi > Coke for me
I let my daughter try a sip of coke when she was 2, she spit it out and wants nothing more to do with it. Her favorite drink is the Oasis juice that's half water, so that's promising at least

Juice is really the same as pop with a little vitamin C thrown in. They stop one step short of taking the fructose out.
Without the fibre to slow sugar absorption juice is just sugar water.
