I would still trade him while his value is high.

I love Rasmus. Don’t know how to embed but they quoted him as saying something along the lines of “they have a lot of pretenders over there so it’s always nice to beat them. Kassian is a coward and that was a coward move, we make guys like that pay”

Especially with Tkachuk. He would love to prove his “toughness” by starting a fight with the smallest player in the league
This also aged well.

It's from the Canadian show, Fubar. The character, Terry, goes "Awooo". It's a pretty obscure reference.

I'm starting to think Edmonton could boost Alberta's economy by focusing on salt production.

There is so much tough guy talk on the Oilers board. Posted from their couch most likely.
It's hilarious. Those people are ####ing losers.

Losers.

I totally see why other fans hate Tkachuk. He is targeting Kassian all game but won’t engage in a scrap. He should keep doing it until Kassian or the Oilers adjust.
Thing is Kassian is targeting Tkachuk as well. Only one of them is completely losing their cool when the hit lands though.

It was the emotional battle of Alberta in November of last season where the Flames really took off and played as an elite team over the next 3 months. That was also after that game where the Oilers started to plummet in the standings. I can’t help but feel last nights game is going to have the same result.

Interesting the next BOA will be the second of a back to back for the Flames who play the Blues the night before. This happens to be their first game off the break. The BOA is Edmonton’s first game coming off the break so this may be the first time the team that played the night before has the clear advantage. We all saw how the Oilers played after the Christmas break.

I’ve been seeing a lot of Oiler fans commenting on social media about their disgust with Tkachuk and that even his teammates probably have no respect for him and dislike him...
Yeah, okay... his teammates totally hate his guts and wish he was on a different team lololol

I realize his potential bias (as a CSEC employee), but I can’t disagree with him here.

Glad to see SOMEbody in the know call out the propagandists, as our local media sure cannot.

Rasmus has already jumped to the front of the line at the “troll-caveman” ride with the coward comments.

I’m really curious about Burke’s reported comment that Lucic will fight Kassian next game. Anyone catch that and what was actually said?

There are games all year that are tense from start to finish but watching both Oiler games I never had that feeling at all. With competent NHL goaltending against I think the Oilers lose pretty well every time, at least in their games that I have watched.

Many Oiler fans are pretty well incapable of thinking from the other side of that situation.

"But kachuck is da bad gai"
