Almost every punch hit his shoulder pads or like brushed his neck.
You just have to keep your cool at such a leveraged point of the game/season/your contract year.

I'm speaking specifically of this play. The hit wasn't dirty. It was to the back of his shoulder and he lost his helmet due to the impact.

If it's not a charge, the only thing you can even arguably call is the unsportsmanlike, which is unheard of in this situation.

The guy landed a clean hit and preceded to turtle like he always does. There's no two minute penalty for being a p***y yet, so unfortunately the guy's gonna get off Scot free.

Kassian is an idiot. Why would he let Tkachuk under his skin like this? This penalty will lose us the game.

Rick Ball in contrast is a great announcer and can honestly do both. On a Wednesday night game...only the hardcore fans are watching. A discussion on streaks, consistent play and profiles on the whole cast of characters is more appropriate. On Saturday night...a story is more appropriate. Let me get off my soap box by saying that the donkey they usually have doing the late game on Saturdays can do neither well...

First thing I look for when I see a Flames player dropped is to see if there is a penalty or cheap shot. I dont like Hughson, but I respect him for changing his mind after seeing the replay rather than fighting for something that wasn't there...
