Be...because that’s who you think will win? What an odd post.

So you would rather I pick the teams I expect to lose just to make for a more attractive post to you? You cranky or something? I did give some reasons that the visitor could win and called one a coin flip so it's not like I would mortgage my house on these predictions.

Yeah this is a totally reasonable reaction to my post, in which I angrily said I hate him for making those picks and hope his family dies in a fire.
... Wait, no, I just said I don't see why people need to let us know that they think the team that's favoured is going to win. Come on, take a chance! You get no credit for picking the favourite and being right.
Either way, Jesus Christ, dude. Chill the F out. It's just football, and I'm just giving him a hard time for taking the safe road.

How many points would I have received for predicting the "I'm not mad, you're mad!" response?

Corsi's approach to picks netted him a solid 0-4 last week, so maybe he knows what he's talking about.

I'm not sure why you would have thought I'd be mad in the first place - my team actually made it out of Wild Card weekend.

Damn right. I'm consistent. If you want to be rich, just bet against me.

VS the line:
Minnesota
Houston
Seattle
I want to say TEN too
I am thinking all the lines are too big, except maybe the BAL one.

I'm actually fairly happy. If it can't be a Super Bowl win, I'd rather get knocked out in the first round. Plus, that first round exit led to the Eagles firing their OC and WRs coaches today, so it's a net positive, IMO.

I have no skin in the game. I just think that a GB Minnesota match up would be entertaining.

Viking@49ers: I think the Niners win and by a lot.
Titans@Ravens: I think the Ravens also win by a lot
Texans@Chiefs: I think this is a close contested game but I will take the Chiefs by 3.
Seattle@Green Bay: Seattle is too banged up and it is at Lambeau. Take the Packers by 7.

The Texans played an extra quarter in their WC game while the Chiefs had the week off. That has to be a factor although by going from Saturday to Sunday the Texans get an extra day in there.
I have a rooting interest in that game so not objective. Texans will really need Will Fuller and Jonathan Joseph active to have a chance IMO. Both still maybes but I’ll go with my heart and pick the Texans to win.
The Titans are going to surprise people. They cover the spread but come just short of the upset.
Anyone could win in the NFC. I’ll pick Seattle and San Fran (who cover with a late score in an otherwise close game).

Definitely feels like after all close games last weekend we're gonna get some stinkers this weekend. I would say the same about the last game but those are two teams who just find ways to keep it close. I'll take Russ to pull some magic for the win. Texans have a shot if Fuller plays effectively, it's actually amazing how poor their splits are without him.
