I liked the game, but it did take some time away from my other two pastimes of rolling around in piles of money and making out with my hot model girlfriend.
I live in a cardboard box and watch hockey games on a potato.

The poster is 21 and someone just told them how sad and depressing their life must be. I’ll cut them some slack for not having the most mature response.
Besides what’s not to like about being a drug mule?
hehhe, mule

I'm happy they won too but an honest look at stats even in a win is a good thing.
The result of the game shouldn't matter. Play better than the other team and you'll win more than they lose. Coaching should be focused on the effort and execution and not the result.
Every win is people creaming their pants and every loss is everyone wanting to trade and fire all the staff. God forbid Austin brings some levelheadedness to a thread.
An environment in which a person encounters only beliefs or opinions that coincide with their own, so that their existing views are reinforced and alternative ideas are not considered.

The guy who's teenage daughter uses the word "cringe worthy" already did. So now I'm 21 and stickied to a guy who is probably mid-30s or older.
Oof.
As for the second part, I said multiple times I realize i shouldn't have posted it but there's also no reason to insult someone's personal life so I'm not gonna lose any sleep over it
Dude you are 21. Just go to the game, down some heroin beers, enjoy the win and stop checking that naturalstat crap every period.
You probably should have drove tonight.

I understand where you are coming from and you seem like a solid poster on here. When I joined CP I made some posts that were very embarrassing and were out of anger and youthful exuberance and it really ruins the valid points you are making. Didn’t want to pile on here but just wanted to say make your points but never go personal and never get into a dick swinging contest

I am looking forward to this Saturday’s game more than any Flames game in a long time.
Something tells me Talbot is going to put the team on his shoulders for a while while Treliving works out some deals that give the forward group a spark.
Well, that was not a pretty win. Good for Talbot. Flames only have 1 forward line working right now. Ward had the right idea putting Lindholm at C with Tkachuk and Mangiapane, but his other lines have been a mess

Posts like these are the ones I appreciate and am happy to learn from.
Definitely just learnt that lesson to not go personal. But on that note, I hope these "more mature" folks learn the same to not pile on someone and get personal just for posting some legitimate statistics and voicing legitimate concerns about the team

It has more to do with the posting history than just comments on tonight's game

So much optimism! I hope your gut feeling is right.
So the Flames are the best team in the west since Ward came in...one point off the division lead, their toughest schedule behind them, and have cap space to burn
Its not so bad
