No kidding! Holy #### I had a 2 hour long conference call so wasn't watching the game, just keeping up with the GT, and damn at the end of the 2nd I thought the Flames must have been down 7-2 or something.

I don’t get to see many games so this is the first time I’ve seen Gaudreau on the depths of whatever this funk of his is. It’s hard to watch. Giveaways, mistakes, no vision, can’t make a pass. Something big is not right with him.

Flames were 3-0 in shoutouts this year because of their top players and then you have this take.

Wow.

Spoiler!

Great win! Thought for sure the Flames would find a way to lose. Nothing more frustrating than tying up the game, only to get scored on a minute later. Felt like every goal the Flames scored that happened.

Can't stand the stupid Wild. Is there a more useless team in the league over the past 2 decades? They were never good enough to go on an epic run. Never bad enough to draft exciting superstar players. Yet they hang around every year and just ruin other teams' seasons by playing spoilers. Feels like they've had that spoiler role since they came into the league and won't ever get above that. Not to mention those dumb Parise and Suter contracts (although Suter is actually pretty good).

The dive on Gio's penalty in OT was beyond pathetic. The stick is being held back, better flop onto the ice like a wet seal. So dumb and I'm glad the Wild lost on home ice.

I don’t get it. When Flames are down by 3 after one period, give up bad goals or being outreffed and end up losing the game I read that they cannot overcome adversity.

Yet when they do, like tonight, narrative changes to they stole one!

I guess with these people it’s heads the other team wins and tails we lose!

Yeah a lot of it was over the top but thats hardly new for game threads.

To be fair though, the team looked very lacklustre and uninterested for the first 30 minutes or so. And Rittich was shakey again in the 1st and could not hold the game tied 3 separate times.Didnt look good for a while but they found their legs a bit and scrapped back.

In his defense, it can be tough to notice smaller details considering the gif's main subject!

Flames beat Chicago on Tuesday and suddenly they've won three straight heading into a game against a team they know they can beat.

Of course they have to get that first win against Chicago, can't look past it. But there's lots to like going forward, especially if the top two lines get rolling again.

Ok, but his last touch on the Hamonic goal was 5 or so seconds before (and a shot and rebound came after) and the Gio goal was a flub. Like I said, I don’t see many games, but I didn’t see him make a single nice play. He seems to be a lesser version of the guy we’ve seen before. Has he had a dominant game all year?

Maybe I'm using the term wrong, but I'm not using it as a slight against the team.

I think a team that overcomes a lot of adversity in a game stole the win back from the other team. Especially in a game like tonight when we trailed 4 separate times.

I don't equate "stealing a game" with not deserving to win.

I don't even read it anymore, and I've found I enjoy the games a lot more. Win or lose.
