Welp, good thing I don't bet on football... that's 0/4 for me for the weekend.

my mistake, i do remember that he wasnt all that good in the Favre interception game; he certainly had a lot of pressure over the years to outscore a poor NO defense. after the last couple years, i was pulling for the Saints this year

Been a good weekend overall for me. Missed out on my 4 team parlays but some smaller parlays and outrights have been pretty profitable.

Best bet of weekend: $20 ML on Houston at the half.

The death of homefield advantage in the NFL this year has been pretty wild.

I mean, if any team doesn't deserve to move on it was Philly. They shouldn't have even been here in the first pkace

No arguments from me. The entire division was trash this year. I'm not even mad about thd outcome. I'm just hoping it signals some coaching changes. Offense was way too stagnant this year and the secondary continues to be a liability.

Don't know how anyone can argue this wasn't a dirty hit. Wentz is already being brought down and Clowney leads with his head.

It's not the reason they lost, but the NFL needs to get that garbage out of the game.

I’d say it’s the reason they lost. The back up was terrible.

I think it was dirty, I'm not sure the intent is. If you look at first contact it's actually Clowneys shoulder and Wentz's back, but then the head comes through afterwards.

I didn't see the Vikings win coming. I thought it was going to be a cake walk for Brees and the Saints. Just one of many reasons I don't bet on football.

Yah I agree. The nfl isn’t ready to remove tackling rules on “runners” yet though. I secretly think it’s to encourage teams to pass more so their players don’t get hurt.

Officiating in the NFL is awful. It just seems that the refs wanted to have a say in the outcome of these playoff games.

Well at least in the CFL that could have been reviewed. I'm not sure the NFL will ever have the appetite to review roughing the passer.

Reviewed for what? There was no rule broken as the rules are now.

NFL referee Shawn Smith's response to a pool reporter question on Jadeveon Clowney hit on Carson Wentz and why a penalty wasn't called:
"He was a runner and he did not give himself up. We saw incidental helmet contact, and in our judgement, we didn't rule that to be a foul."

As I said earlier. The nfl doesn’t want to change their “runner” rules. At least not yet.

Go Seahawks! Crazy the game was the exact same score as their regular season meeting. Has the ever happened before?

I think they have a chance against the Packers. GB had a super soft schedule and have to be one of the weakest 13-3 teams ever. In any case Rodgers vs Wilson should be epic.

Oh they have a chance for sure. A good one.

GB isnt "weak" though, they just aren't an offensive juggernaut like they once were. They run the ball more than they have in 20 years. Rodgers just doesnt have many options in the pass game beyond Adams and a running back.

Defensively though, they are a top 10 team in the league.

Should have taken the easy money. Even the BC Lions would have beat the Eagles today.
