The Flames have often comeback when scoring a late goal in the 2nd to go down by 2.

That's what they needed to do to finish the period. Now it's in reach.

How was that not holding the stick? It took away a prime scoring chance

Bring the emotion from the last few minutes of the second into the third and we have a shot!

Bad goal/bad break is the only difference

Vancouver has nothing 5 on 5

And that is why their is a 30 pp differential between the Canucks and Flames. Beyond being terrible refs have their favourites.

Yup, pretty hard for the refs to say they didn't see that one!

Work ethic and compete are paramount and usually decisive in who wins almost every single game.

If you’re not fully mentally and emotionally prepared to carry out the plan and play your role with full commitment , you are hurting the team before you step on the ice.

Fully prepared, you win more puck battles , compete harder to create a chance for or eliminate one against and have success. Not complicated.

Of course execution is also paramount, but also a result of preparation.

You haven’t got time to think, it’s act and react based on preparation and practice repetition.

More games (not all) are won in the first period, not the third. It’s very difficult to reset if you’re not properly prepared at the start.

What the hell is Lucic doing on the F&^%$#@ powerplay. Dube and Mangy are way better options. Where is Rinaldo?

Yeah, I'm starting to want the top two centremen swapping lines. Something is off with the chemistry.

That's why they are considered homer broadcasters. They know next-to-nothing nothing the the other NHL teams.
