They seem to be looking harder to get the puck back to Gio than putting it on the net.

Annoys me so much!

I think it was the camera angle, or else Demko would be a foot out of his net too.

You need to put down your pom poms on occasion. That was just an awful period of hockey by the home team and they are lucky it's only 3-0. Why even deny it after a stinker of a period like that?

Unexpected first period. Demko looking like Kipper. Hopefully, things turn around in the second and third for the Flames.

Noticing that they're playing Kipper-era music. Is that on purpose? Either way, it's welcomed.

Jekyll and Hyde team rears its ugly head again. Just not quite ready again tonight.

I blame the Oilers. The Flames had it so easy against them last game that they didn't remember the type of work ethic needed to beat an actual NHL team.

Stupid Oilers are so bad they make the teams that play them bad as well.

This has been obvious since Rittich was brutal against Montreal, and it's exactly what happened when he was overplayed last year.

They sure came out prepared to beat the grease. Not seeing that same intensity so far this game. Need to pick it up!!

Except it should have never got to 3-0 in the first place.

Rittich blew it

Scoring chances are even

11 shots means nothing. Replay the period if u can and after it was 3-0 the Canucks toyed the Flames. A few grade A chances for sure.

Dreadful display.

Monahan, Gaudreau and Backlund complete no shows.

Rittich looked hung over. Guys out of position all over the place.

Hmmm.

Oh shut up...they gave up 11 shots

They are lucky half didn't go in? I never said it was a good period but they were anything but lucky

It's amazing that the Flames are still in this game at all. But with the long change and home ice advantage they could bring the score back to even in the second. Mangiapane looks like a good bet. Jankoski and Monahan with the others. Prediction made.
