Did he really say that? What a low class clown.

You still miss the point. It's ok to cheer, discuss, have an opinion of the team, that is part of being a fan of a team. Your avatar name totally suits you. Rah rahrah brethren 🙄

some people have been overly negative for a team 9-3-1 under their new coach...many of those on the road

just last game people were talking about the Flames having to get red hot to make the playoffs. In the REAL WORLD the Flames need to outplay Vancouver/Edmonton to be guaranteed a Pacific seed and despite a tough start the Flames are 1 point out of first with a favorable schedule the rest of the way.

I give you credit for showing up and posting after wins not just losses like some people.

Where did I say it wasn't okay to discuss and have an opinion of the team? Seems like you missed the point.

Rah rah rah brethren? WTF are you on about lad?

You chose today to lavish some praise on the Oilers and criticize the Flames. We have chosen to criticize your opinion. It's all fair game.

You and I don't always see eye to eye, but I totally respect the vantage/approach of your posting.

We are both hardcore fans, you are just way more glass half full than me. Especially in frustrating years like this.

Why would I not post? I am ecstatic about the win. I see nothing wrong about fans being frustrated by crap performances. I don't get paid by the franchise and am happy to be able to have an opinion. I suppose if your a draft watcher, you just gotta assume the position (with some pom poems of course lol)

Game Takes: Flames 5 Oilers 1

- Mangiapane first 3 point game
- top line goes to work (6 points)
- top pairing shows Edmonton what that looks like
- solid road win

It was reasonable to notice that, coming in, McJesus and Drai had over 60 points and that is nearly double the top scorers on the Flames. Not unreasonable to worry about how the game would be called.

Flames were dominating and got to 2-0 but it quickly got cut in half by a good tip.

The deeper team should win if they keep to the plan. But reasonable concerns based on what a guy has seen this year isn’t suddenly foolish with the full 20/20 benefit of hindsight.

Still, great to see how the boys came off the break.

McDavid is a great talent, crap leader. I saw his interview and was quite unimpressed.

According to the post-game show, a Yamamoto call-up might be the tonic to cure the Oilers ills.
