I loved the part where they commented that the Flames were pushing, but that McDavid could change that in a heartbeat. They just need to find ways to get his name in there at all times.

Any doubt about JG’s confidence in Backlund, it’s right there.
A non brainer short pass to Backlund on that rush was ignored to make a Hail Mary very tough pass to SM.

I actually think kassian is one of the better third line players in today’s nhl.
Lucky for him, he’s going to get 2nd $ with the Mcdavid boost.
