Amazing what happens when the Flames do one touch passes. Goals go in.

Our problem on the PP was holding onto the puck too much (regardless of what player had it).

That puck movement is all about working harder than the PK. Good on the PP for finally finding a sense of urgency!

Chris Snow looks like the brother of both Hamonic and Lucic.

Hard fight ahead of him, good luck to him and his family.

It can't recall any other team execute with that pace and tempo. Those 2 power plays were next level.

Johnny has been problematic in this area.

Good to see him buying in.

Andersson is way better than hanifin and hamonic combined defensively lol

hanifin, hamonic, and stone should try something else at 5 on 5 other than 'throw the puck blindly into the neutral zone and give the stars as many rushes against as they want'

What's frustrates me about this group of players is that you see those two power plays and you realize they have all the talent in the world to execute hockey at that kind of speed yet we see them struggle night in and night out more often than not. Those kind of efforts we just witnessed shouldn't be as rare as they are. Especially given that we KNOW they're capable of that level of hockey.

Hanifin is just..frustrating at times. Lots of different scenarios with our D for the summer but depending on how Valimaki rebound I wouldn't mind Hanifin being moved for help elsewhere.

the problem is you can't put your best 4 forwards and best defender on the ice for the whole 60 minutes. the flames have some good pieces on defense but they refuse to play them in their proper roles, as a result they have a real problem leaving their own zone and making plays most shifts.

i've been saying this for a while. he has no next gear, no extra level of poise or aggressiveness. disappointing

Hamonic for two firsts was robbery.

In regards to this growing resentment of Hanifin, I contend that it's more who he is paired with. You never see these blunders when he is paired with Andersson.

I'm firm in my belief that once Hamonic has moved on to wherever hes gonna go, the Andersson/Hanifin paring will be the #1 pairing in no time.

My feed just cut out on the Hometown Heroes part. I'd like to watch it later. Anywhere it'll be up fairly soon?
