I actually thought Bennett looked really good tonight. Some poster suggested Tkachuk/Lindholm/Bennett and I think that could be a winner.

Game was a coin toss in the end but they could have put it away in the 2nd

Bad game by Rittich, take the point

Team needs to get back on the road and get back to work.

They can’t rely on Rittich to stand on his head every game. Obviously he let in some softies tonight but that’s going to happen from time to time.

We’ve got a tweener roster, that doesn’t really have an identity as skilled or tough to play against. Certainly some pieces, buy so many guys that consistently no show the second it’s gets tough.

We looked really bad in our end tonight.

Agree with the poster that there should be a shot clock in OT once you enter the zone. Or once in you cannot come back out.

We’ve gotta be near the bottom of the league in power play opportunities. Seems the opposing teams gets twice as many as is each game.

The Superstars are being out played (hustle) by the lower guys. That says something.

Sent from here.

Lucic looked good. Refs missed an obvious penalty
Bennett looked decent
Rittich wants that one back where he didn’t seal the post. They happen. He also had some 10 bell saves to get the point and Domi won it on a very good shot
The Flames coach advising on challenges should be fired.

Game Takes: Habs 4 Flames 3 (OT)

- not a great effort from the Flames
- leaky defensively and too many breakdowns
- Rittich under siege but gave up three tough ones

Flames are playing generally with more confidence under Ward vs Peters (this season Peters).
But it takes more then confidence,it takes finishing games. Flames are getting outplayed in the third, with not enough Flames urgency, after playing decent the first two periods.

Decent first 2 periods?

We've had 3 good 1sts in a row, but bad 2nds and 3rds.

Second period was the deciding factor as they let them back in it after running the first. Queue the we gotta play for 60 minutes and there are some postives from tbis game quotes...
