There's a hard 1st-round pick in the Hall trade PLUS another conditional 1st-round pick IF the Coyotes re-sign Hall AND win a playoff round. The conditional pick becomes a third-round pick if neither of those things happen. And a 2nd-round pick if one of those 2 things happen

Weird fit imo. Arizona plays a structured defensive game. Hall doesn’t play defence.
He’ll be gone by the summer and Arizona will wish they didn’t make that trade.

Hall makes the Coyotes a very deep team, especially if no roster players are headed the other way. With Kessel being a disappointment so far, I'm curious to see if Hall revitalizes him.

Yes, because the Coyotes scream hockey market. Pretty sure he could have been traded anywhere and his agent would say that. He has made it pretty clear he will test the market.
