There were a lot of respectful leafs fans, but also a lot of leafs fans in the concourse acting like it was the first week of college.
So I'm not gonna lie... It was hard, maybe impossible to wipe the #### eating grin off your face after that 3 minute span when they piped right down and the Flames chants became way more audible.

That’s Mitch Nybo, longtime FlamesTV camera guy (and occasional emergency practice goalie). Perhaps not the best thing to do at the end of a game but Rittich was clearly joking with him.
Better to joke around in a private setting and not out in front of the kids!

Babcock era we could never really get in sync and were kind of a one trick pony when it came to the cycle, it never felt nearly as threatening as when a team like Tampa or Washington got passing it around. Since keefe took over it’s been night and day as far as that and I am loving it.

I’m not going to lie. The start of this season, on the heals of the Avs series had me feeling as negative about this team as I have since they came to Calgary.

Small thing and maybe only funny to me but early in the second period, Rittich stopped the play with a nice glove save. Hyman had been parked in front in between 4 Flames and methodically received 3 consecutive cross-checks from backlund who bounced him to Hanifin who bounced him to Monahan. All after the whistle. Good stuff.
