That is what I was alluding to, as I dont think he is an upgrade on any of the other players on the depth chart. If he was young then sure, but at 28, he is what he is as a player in the league. I wish him the best as I do for all players, but I feel there are better players in the system.

He already posted he’d have him in there instead of Hamonic, also.

Dead wrong, IMO.

I think he's a good candidate for the 7d spot after this year

1-1 after one, I'm good with it. 2nd period sees the Flames dominate with 3 goals to head into the third where in both teams pot one more and the final score is 5-2 and thusly buddy's birthday (sorry I forget who that was) is officially changed to his 52nd.

A few games ago it was deathly quiet.

So I yelled out "Jeez would you keep it down over there!? I'm trying to watch hockey!"

I was so damn proud of my cleverness, and my section had a chuckle.

My wife probably rolled her eyes at home not knowing why.

It’s 1-2 (Montreal) nights a year and sometimes I feel like both teams are more into since there is more energy in the building overall.
I know a few Flames fans who wear their jersey every game. Unless the Habs/Bruins/Leafs are playing and then they wear their first love jersey. I know some CFL fans that do this for the Stamps when Riders come to town.

This is what it's like when they come to Florida too, but possibly a little worse. It sucks if they're winning, as they won't let you hear the end of it and razz you for cheering for anyone other than the Leafs.

But, it's soooo satisfying if your team wins. A couple years ago the Panthers scored 3 straight to tie the game in the 3rd and then they eventually won it. It was pretty fun razzing the Leafs fans in the bathroom afterwards. "Oh what's that I hear Leaf fans? The deafening silence of defeat?"

Whoever cooked up this Unicorn segment should be ashamed. Why did we need to watch that?

And if you are going to do that high-school level marketing scheme, how do you not include a guy like John Carlson who is a d-man on pace for 111 points.

Well. I thought I had big thighs. Stajan’s are something else. He’s almost on Gelinas’ level.

I think it's because of the power ring. Looked like it was pink for a while then changed colour.

Tucker Tynan goalie for the Icedogs suffered a really bad cut to his leg against the Knights, hope he is ok. That was a lot of blood. Video on SN.

Why is it still acceptable to host an intermission show in the middle of an ugly hallway?

Yup I remember a couple years ago it was the Leafs and Flames game where the Flames took a 5 minute penalty in the first.

Leafs fans were being super arrogant as the PP started, got an early goal on that PP, and then the Flames went and scored two short handed goals on that PK and it was a great time to be a Flames fan.

4-1 after the first and was really fun for a regular season game.

Same reason why the Flames have an ECHL level/quality standard with respect to the entertainment/game experience for home games.
