I think it has more to do with Calgary actually playing like a hockey team then anything particular about Lucic. Getting a little more time on the power play as well I think.

Lucic has always had the ability to tap in and tip pucks in front of the net. He should be able to score at least 10 goals this year. It's just that he is a bit of a black hole 5v5. Neal isn't exactly tearing it up in that regard either, but is actually able to create offence outside of just being generally large in front of the net and wacking in the puck when it comes to him.
I’m 100% certain this guy copied and pasted this from CP and just replaced Neal with Lucic.

So Lucic is a black hole 5 on 5? Only gets tip ins on the powerplay?

So do people still think this would be a good year to have a bad season and a high draft pick? I like winning. This feels good.

Flames should really rally around Jankowski and help him score his 1st goal the next game. That would be some team work and team celebration to watch.

I just love the way Ward handles his lines. We have a very balanced lineup right now and it's really showing on the scoreboard.

It's great to see Janko getting extra shifts and even some time on the PP. Coach trying to get him in groove. Of course it helps that he's actually playing really well and that his line is scoring. Don't know if I ever seen a guy as snakebit as Janko is this season.

Backlund. Or how about Hall. There's 2 I can think of there.
