Yes he a great game last night and has been better his last 3 games, but on balance this year he has been a nothing burger at best and noticeable for the wrong reasons at the worst.
When this team gets Bennett and Czarnik back, I can't see him deserving to stay in the lineup. He'll likely have to wait for someone (let's say Frolik or Czarnik) to play himself out of the lineup.
So yeah, Janko played well last night, but in my books it looks too little, too late.

Sure. But when Bennett & Czarnik come back, I can't see there being room for him in the regular lineup for a bit on merit at least.
Too many guys playing better overall than Janko to have him maintain a regular spot once the roster gets healthy.

Meh he’s a better PKer than them though. Don’t see them taking him out after a good little stretch.

Yes, but the Flames have 5 other guys they can use as PKers (Backlund, Lindholm, Rieder, Ryan & Frolik) without Janko that are more or less as good as Janko on the PK. That is the very only argument to keep him in the lineup, but despite the fact he's still useful there, I can't see that as reason enough to still keep him in the regular lineup once every forward gets healthy.
