Did they ever let Burakovsky walk in there.

Super clear interference in Gaudreau back checking with no call followed by the worst missed icing call ever. Great.

Dube and his line are so good. Just have to be less shy about shooting.

Apparently the officials have decided whenever the Avs ice the puck it shall be waived off

Three really good chances at the end of the period. Mangiapane, Hamonic, Gio.

That was a solid road period.

Pretty decent for a first period against the Avs on the road I’d say

Keep putting that kind of pressure on and the atrocious reffing won't matter.

Not a bad period. Few defensive breakdowns.

For Christmas my wish for the Flames would be a killer instinct. Get mean.

So do you think the Flsmes would get away with all that interference? I am guessing No. And a slash on Gio. I absolutely love NHL reffing.

Stay with it, guys.

Slow start but I thought the Flames really started to come around the last 10-12 minutes or so

I think they are in the Flames heads and we haven't had a strong enough coaching staff to get the players to adjust properly. Maybe Ward can get it done, but how badly we are backing up is embarassing. If it's me I dedicate entire practices to having Gaudreau skate as fast as he can at the dmen and force them to practice holding the line.

Might also help Gaudreau as that's what he sees all game.

Is it just me or does Francouz's equipment look massive. The guy is only 6' and 180lbs.

The rebirth of Giguere.

That wasn’t a bad period at all. The Flames are slowly building confidence since Peters. I have hope we’ll still win this one and slay the Avalanche demon.

Just stay hard on the forecheck. They are making mistakes.
