Sort of. Most teams figure they can keep us to the outside, and even through we have the luck a fair amount, it doesn’t yield a lot of really good chances. We’re easy to defend.

That play by Gaudreau was comical..like he could not have made a worse choice.

The good news is Gaudreau is involved defensively.

The bad news is he keeps putting himself in bad spots because he handles the puck like he forgot how to hockey.

I’d say the Sens have had two good chances and the Flames have had 5-6.

I would rather he go back to cherry picking.

For sure. But they are not good at all. They are bottom-5 NHL bad.

They may not be as bad as their 1-8-1 start to the season, but they're closer to being that team than the 7-5 they've been in their last 12 games.

It boggles my mind that essentially this same Flames team was the second highest scoring team in the league last year.

You have to think it must be some kind of off ice issue at this point. There's no way that such an offensively gifted, dynamic, and exciting player just suddenly goes ice cold like this. Short slumps here and there for sure, that's normal. But Johnny has been completely useless for almost a month now. It's definitely concerning.

Primarily on the back of Johnny playing like an all-star, not like a guy trying his hardest to get himself traded closer to home.

Sit him and play Rinaldo instead? Is that your plan?

Gaudreau is pretty much a disaster in every part of his game right now, it’s ugly.

For the most part every team wins 30ish games a year and every team loses at least 20ish games a year (There is often an outlier as well)...this one could be in either one of those categories.

Its also the other 25ish games that decide your season.
