Not sure if this has been mentioned before - and it is really a 'connect the dots' type of thought, but I will mention it anyway.


Now that Geoff Ward is the head coach, I wonder if that means that Taylor Hall would be more likely to want to sign in Calgary? He had a really good relationship with Ward in Jersey, and IIRC, felt that Ward really helped him become a better player. If the Flames turn this season around, that could be something to watch.


I myself am unsure if I would want him on the team - really dependent on the dollars, and I bet I wouldn't like what he would sign for anyway. Still, for those that wish this to happen, then who knows?
