Dr. Dino gets 10 years, must pay $640k to IRS

Pensacola evangelist Kent Hovind was sentenced Friday afternoon to 10 years in prison on charges of tax fraud.

After a lengthy sentencing hearing that last 5 1/2 hours, U.S. District Judge Casey Rodgers ordered Hovind also:

-- Pay $640,000 in restitution to the Internal Revenue Service.

-- Pay the prosecution’s court costs of $7,078.

-- Serve three years parole once he is released from prison.

Wow, right there in a nutshell is the problem with his values.

I just hate how he seems to have a following of zombie sheep. How can people be so hopelessly devoted, blind, and perhaps just not very smart.

He's a young earth creationist who debates science about the age of the earth and created a theme park along the same lines.

He avoid paying a lot of taxes and got convicted for it.

That's quite the title for a Bible conference that this guy would be involved in. The spelling is a little off but at least it's honest.

If you watch his presentations, they are ridiculous. It's like patronizing 3rd grade science that manages to convince college students and professionals of his views.
