As if it needed saying but beware any “sales” on amazon. I know all retailers do this to some extent but they are the worst.

I’ve been researching prices on a few items I was looking at and many of them are identical to what they were last week. Or the prices are the same on numerous other sites with no advertisements as it being a sale.

Their MSRPs have always been highly suspicious.

I just had the opposite - looked for a micro sd on Best buy, the Lexas 633x 128gb is $25 - $35 off! Then I looked on Amazon and found it for $22 normal price. I ended up buying a Samsung one for $22 down from $38 (Best Buy lists it for 39.99 on "sale").

Started looking around today for a dash cam around $100 or less. Based on my (limited) research, this one looks like a really good deal.

What I like about it:
-all the usual features (parking, motion detection, crash detection)
-uses the Sony IMX335 sensor, which is one of the top sensors for night recording. Very rare to find in this price range.
-super capacitor which is more resilient to extreme temperatures
-built in gps - records speed and location info with the video.
-170 viewing angle.
-F1.8 lens and filters to reduce glare/reflections.
-timelapse
-better than 1080p recording. Review says it's not full 4k, but if it's better than 1080, I'm good.
-read on one site that it can record 1080p at 60fps.
- ~$100 seems like a steal with these features

If BestBuy will match, you can get an addition $3 off (they are advertising the same camera for $130 on sale).

Unfortunately, not a lot of reviews outside of the Amazon reviews, so it depends on your risk tolerance.

In my own non-scientific independent testing, my Zojirushi absolutely destroys my wife's Yeti if you value heat retention.

It's actually annoying how hot it keeps it. After a few hours, its still as hot as it was when it was poured.

The lid is what sucks on the Yeti. Its just a plastic lid so heat escapes. Its not vacuum sealed like the Zoji.

Yeti stuff seemed to go way downhill right around when the off-shored all the manufacture.

My original mug was annoyingly good, like coffee was too hot to drink by the time I got to work. The newer ones I've been given are average at best.

We are located in Stettler, so not really close to Calgary. I am coming down that way before Christmas to work a line so I can meet up somewhere.

I haven’t tried the new coffee mugs, but the old tumblers work as good. I would expect the coffee ones to be the same just with a handle. The plastic lids on the tumblers and mugs do not keep things as warm/cold as long, but I’ve found unless I am outdoors for long periods it doesn’t matter. I have staff that leave their coffee for a couple hours in the tumbler and come back with it still good to drink
