I don't have the Beam, but I do have the regular Sonos soundbar. I'd say if the Beam is even 1/2 as good as the soundbar I'd jump at it in a heartbeat. Mine is paired with x2 Play 5's and the sub. The sound is great quality at any volume imo, I don't think I can think of one thing that I'd change with my Sonos. I can't recommend them enough.

Noise cancelling technology doesn’t work like that. It takes a persistent noise, flips the phase and emits a signal to cancel.

I had some in ear buds which excluded external noise better than my over ear noise cancelling headphones.

While you are not wrong, some of the better headphones have supposedly mastered handling this:

AKG almost anything
Sony WH1000
Now, that’s if you’re down with spending at least $350 on some cans.

Also, Trickers boots on the best price I’ve ever seen. Makes me happy.

Just ordered a pair of JBL Live 650BTNC for my wife for Xmas... ordered from Staples but looks like London Drugs, Best Buy, Costco all have them on for the same price $149. Seem to have good reviews.

I bought the Crossfade Wireless 2 years ago for $200 USD and they are amazing. Those are on sale for $90 USD right now. If those were lost or stolen I’d buy the newer version, as the noise cancelling is slightly better and they become more compact when in the case.

Darn it to hell. I successfully used Expedia's 90% off hotels coupon (downgraded to 75% this year) last black Friday- believe I saved the maximum amount allowed. Tried the same this year but looks like you can only use coupon codes when you pay upfront. Missed this detail and couldn't find the enter coupon code anywhere when I selected the pay later option. Codes were all claimed once I realized my mistake.

You probably know this, but the Yeti mugs aren't spill proof in the same way those Contigo ones are. We have both, and the Contigo mugs from Costco are less expensive and way better. The Yeti's look cooler, so I don't blame you if you want one in spite of that.
