I hope there is an announcement on this by time the work day is over here in Calgary. I don't think they should be letting this linger till tomorrow.

4 actually. Rockford/Chicago, Detroit, Carolina, Calgary. Unless you meant hearing stories from 3 organizations. Probably any time until we hear something from a player that was with Peters in Detroit.

well that escalated quickly. Aliu's allegations are one thing, but the pile on regarding Peters' "conduct" and the absolute glee by some to see him exposed is shocking too. Dude seems to be hated by everybody.

Makes me question why the flames are left holding the bag on a hire like this.

Can confirm and will add close relationships spanning decades were ruined because of Francis' decision not to fire Peters. Obviously more to come later.

This is gonna get way worse. Jeeze.

The only thing that matters is this is resolved before he takes on any other official duties for this club. As much as we just want resolution, I'm happy for the Flames to take whatever time they have to make the right call (which I agree, unless something crazy is about to come out of the woodwork, seems obvious) and ensure they handle all of this the right way.

Remeber when we thought Peter's was supposed to be the perfect porridge to Hartley "too hot" style and Gully "too cold" style?
 Man, those were some times.

There is something unpleasant about these anonymous sources coming out and piling on. They are just letting Aliu bear this entire thing as the its public face (with the exception of Michal Jordan). Then again, I guess it shows how intimidating it is to speak up when your future in the NHL could be jeopardized.

TSN named two specific players by name that corroborated Aliu's story, so they aren't hiding.

Interesting. The team was on an absolute tear. Went into a spiral they still haven’t come out of since that time. What happened to this team?

If I was the Flames, I would much rather have this evening’s news cycle be “Flames fire coach for racist and abusive conduct ” instead of “Flames coach accused yesterday and today of racist and abusive conduct, team still undecided on course of action. ”

This story and all its evidence is still going to be discussed over and over on all broadcasts, regardless of the headline attached to it... so it seems like a no-brainer to at least want to have the best headline you can get in your favour.

Sunflower topped the charts and it tore the dressing room apart.
