Backlund line still the flames best line. What happened to Dube? Did he get a shift in the 2nd?

That’s funny, it looked like Backlund had his stick on the ice , reached out and tripped him.

I could empty a bottle of molasses before they got to the other end of the ice.

You can clearly see the ref isn't going to call anything, and as soon as he sees Anderson recover the puck for a scoring chance he decides to make the call.

Its either a penalty or it isn't. It has nothing to do with what happens after.

This league has a serious issue with reffing. They just haven't been able to keep up with the speed of the game.

Backlund didn't move his stick at all.

Yeah but that's how it goes for us this season seems the refs dont miss anything we do therefore we should stop doing stuff like backlund did there

Well Bill Peters is about to blow up on social media. Sounds like he made some pretty ####ty and racist comments to Akim Aliu.

One of a few times this year that they look quite hungry on the puck for most of this game. They still look as though they are missing a piece or 2 to become a real contender though.

I'm not even sure it was Backlund's stick. both he and the Penguins players sticks look tied up together.

Oh, it was his stick all right. I agree it was marginal though, and it can be interpreted any way you want.

Peters could lose his job if there's enough proof. They don't let that kind of #### go anymore like they used to.

If the story is true - it is not going to end well for Peters.
