One thing is obvious, this team is not playing for the coach. I am assuming something happened to turn this from a cohesive group to a team that has completely and collectively lost the will to win.

Personally a guy like Babcock never seems to be available for the Flames... I wouldn’t advocate firing Peters but Babcock being available all of the sudden makes it extremely intriguing.

The plan at least for PP1 seems to be using Tkachuk as a one time option on the right and sticking Looch in there to screen the goalie instead.
PP2 - shoot often and pray?

There was a stat that Jankowski hasn't been on the ice for a single goal this year. PP2 is never gonna score

Jankowski’s lack of production is mostly on him, but he’s never been given much 5 on 5 ice time with good wingers either. How many times have we heard “if only Bennet got some consistent first or second line time, then we’d see him have better point production”? Bennet has had multiple opportunities that have never been given to Jankowski. I’m not saying he deserves it, but if this is the pp configuration that we see in tomorrow’s game, it would be the first time he’s been given pp time in a meaningful game.

If the PP strategy is the same, the PP will continue to be complete garbage because the strategy is complete garbage.
I know what will create space, whipping it around the boards so that the opposition can just shift over and gain perfect defensive position on the other side. Then we do the exact same, forcing the buggers to then return to their original...oh wait they intercepted the puck on the boards and cleared the zone...
