Sitting here in disbelief. I am sure we will hear lots of cliches from the players, coaches, etc. But the point is no one is taking ownership of this debacle. I don't think they really want to be this incompetent. Until someone decides to take control of the situation, I am afraid things might get worse.
Start with detailed player evaluations including one on one interviews.
Determine which players you want here long term. For those you don’t start publicly shopping them for the best trades, whether the deals happen now, at the deadline, the draft or next summer.
No chance you write off the season, ever. As a fan, sure. Do whatever you want, but this is pro sports and there is no such thing as writing off a season. As an owner of an NHL team I would be completely outraged and disgusted if my management team had even the slightest consideration of writing off a season quarter of the way through. You get back to work and solve problems and find a way.
Write off the season....please.

As they should. I realize in this day and age everyone wants a quick fix but I don't think there is one for the 2019 edition of the Flames. The team needs to ride this one out no matter how ugly it gets as the only big move that should be considered is maybe changing the coach but I suspect the GM will not do this during the season unless things get Greg Gilbert bad and truth be told another few weeks of this hockey and we are probably there.
Yup. PLEASE don't try to save this season. It's done already.
Have a REALLY bad year and get a franchise player.

Yep.
It would be the most flames thing ever to deficit spend to try and save this season or to make a panic trade and move quality for quantity.
Please, just sell. Do it in December. Use this year as a development year for the young players we do have. Sell Brodie and Hammer soon. Rely on the youngsters.
Just do it right for once. Please.
