I can't take the Flames SN feed, I had to switch to Vegas. It's horrible.

Yesterday SN devoted the higher quality feed to the Oilers. Flames audio was awful. And the feed cut out.

It'd be nice to score a first-period goal once in a while.
The 2016-17 Colorado Avalanche are the worst team of the cap era. They finished with 22 wins and 48 points and only scored 165 goals. They only scored the first goal of the game 24 times and only scored 43 goals in first periods.
Well, these Flames are on pace to score the first goal 28 times and they're on pace to score just 35 first-period goals all season.

That's why I cant help but see that evening out in a big way at some point.
And anomalies like the Oilers having 4 or 5 shooters scoring on every fourth shot also evening out the other way.
At some point, law of averages will intervene. Probably right after we give up hope on it doing so.

Last year the Flames led the league in SH goals with 18. They have 0 so far this year. Just another stat on why they’re struggling this year.

On the flip side. Near the top of the league in PK. But, thyre also the most penalized team in the league.
So far their lack of discipline hasnt hurt them too much but the offense drying up doesnt help.

Yeah, players are terrified of him, plus he's generally not a liability for the Knights. He's a unique player that a lot of teams could use in their bottom 6.

Well, I dunno about that. The defence hasn't been terrible, but all the forwards outside of Dube's line have been comatose.

my satellite box gave up, so that's the end of flames hockey for me for probably a couple weeks until it gets fixed.
I think they'll be better when I can watch them again
