Johnny is like a Phil kessel type. He’s a great player but he’s a complimentary player. You can’t win with him as the main offensive player.

If Brodie let that guy go and he scored, the whole board will be calling for his head.

Because I am sick and tired of it. Brodie is among the worst d in the NHL, makes 5M a year, and being nothing offensively to offset his horrendous play. Each and every time someone take a shot at Brodie this poster is there defending him trying to make the posters seems like they are out to lunch.

Brodie sucks. Period. No one is picking on him. No one wants him to fail, but he does. It was time to move on from him two years ago. This situation is not good for him and it’s not good for the Flames.

I watched from the second period on, and based on what I watched, it was a pretty even game. We had a couple great scoring chances that needed to be on target.

Can’t complain about that effort, especially against a good team playing well.

I get your point but Kessel raises his game in the post season especially his board work.

Good thing Tkachuk is well on his way to being the main guy type.

Dislike the player all you want but come one, don't attack another poster for being a fan. That's some Oilers level bull####

I think it was lucky because they were somewhat outplayed most of the game. Not massively outplayed but just outplayed.

The bolded part is a very nice way of evaluating how he is playing.

If there's one thing you know, it's "out to lunch".

And yes, yours was a dooshy comment, makes you look like a jerk.

Call against Brodie was questionable. I thought he played that ok to be honest.

Sucks the Flames lost, but I'm happy with the point. Defending champs were a handful to deal with all night. Being able to come back from 2 goals in the 3rd and still get a point, that's a better outcome then what I expected going in. I'll take it.

They just can't play heavy hockey.

And Johnny...needs to sit for a few games. Rittich obviously very disappointed after putting in another very good performance.
Sit a guy 17 points in 20 for a few games lol

Do people actually think this would be a good plan?
