I think it's based on his agent saying they are not negotiating an extension right now.
Specifically, he stated they will not discuss an extension for the remainder of this season. And if they aren't discussing until the off-season then the agent and player have no reason to not wait a few weeks and speak to every team.
"We will not be discussing contract this season" with pending UFA's is agent speak for "My client is going UFA".

I agree that's almost always the case. Hamonic, being a team/game guy first might be an exception and is just wanting no distractions. However, his agent saying it is probably the sign you are positing.
I don't hate the move. Kylington looked good but I like the idea of him going down to have a better chance to work on the weaker parts of his game, and getting waaaaay more minutes to do it. Have no fear folks, he WILL be back.
Worth mentioning how Davidson has been lighting up the AHL too, doesn't hurt to reward that
WTF? PK reps on the farm? I'm sorry but that stinks. Whatever I guess. Coaches and management know what they're doing, I think. Ugh. Hes been perfectly fine, there was always going to be highs and lows through the season. And I dont think he has had a ton of lows. In fact in the past ten games you could say that he and Andersson have been the best pairing on some nights.
