What an absolute amazing comeback to watch, crowd got louder and louder as it went on and the goals started coming! Great to see Rittich proving himself time and again, that double save sequence was insanity! I think it was off a brutal effort from I believe Gio/Brodie when skating after a face off that was won too well in the offensive zone. Madness!! Glorious madness!!!

This team! Sitting here watching the last 5 minutes of such uninspired hockey, I almost turned it off. Then, BAM, BAM, Chucky!

Tkachuk definitely looking for a hard cross ice pass, maybe even trying to bank it off the defenseman in front if Backlund didn’t get it.
Kessel’s stick slightly hitting Tkachuk’s stick on the follow through, though, slightly changes the angle of when and where the puck came off of and it goes on net.

After periods 1 and 2...I felt little hope. Perimeter game, satisfied with poor quality shots, gave up too many high quality shots, but then this all happened.

I don’t think the Flames deserved to win tonight, but they did find a way - and that’s important. The top line needs to figure out how to play 5v5 hockey effectively again, they need to be better - they need to generate more.

I’m not sure how much harder I can fall in love with Rittich, but I’m looking forward to finding out!

Feels good to cheer for an exciting come back win again though. Awesome ending at the Dome.

That’s the thing. This wasn’t a “rested” Flames team that had a couple days off prior to this game.. It was still their 3rd game in 4 nights coming back from an Eastern road trip.

This wasn’t the Predators game where they were dominated for 40 minutes. The game was pretty even overall.

Really the big thing is they need to cut out the just horrible mistakes like the play by Mangiapane on the first goal. And in terms of the mental mistakes, and the team not being crisp (passes into the skates) that looks a lot like a tired team to me.

Team can probably really use a break and a couple days of actual practice, which I doubt they’ve really been able to have due to the schedule.

I don't hate it, stacking the top line worked last year but hasn't yet this year. It absolutely shows how bad we need another top 6 winger that can play the right side though

Peters: “I thought we gave them a couple goals … we weren’t very good. We couldn’t pass the puck. Everything’s in the feet. Everything is behind guys. When you look slow, it’s puck speed and execution with the puck....

...There’s guys open, we don’t see them. There’s guys open, we put it behind them. It’s the National Hockey League, we’ve gotta be able to make a pass.”

hard to disagree with this

Peters not happy in the scrum at all. Not the first time that we have heard it this year, but his thoughts together with Chucky's comments hopefully will produce some changes

Looks like even if they didnt collide it still would have been a 3 on 0 just not near as much time

That'll teach me for thinking the Coyotes would just make the last five minutes painfully boring and go play The Outer Worlds instead.
