They play the Blues tomorrow, after they’re game in Vancouver tonight. They’ll get Jake Allen too. Their record is a mirage given the ease of their schedule so far.

This team man, they’ll just surprise you sometimes. Thought that 3-1 goal was curtains. They sleepwalked through most of the game minus 10 minutes.
Powerplay looked good, got the team back in it. Thought Rittich was our best player and the top guys once again, started rough but won them the team the game.
Hopefully this fuels the team going forward because they definitely didn’t deserve 2 points tonight. But we’ll take it.

I don’t know.
Flames Dominated Corsi, more scoring chances, high danger chances were pretty even.
Flames made some glaring mistakes that they really need to clean up but the rest of the time they were carrying the play in my opinion.

Probably ~1000 or so ppl left the Dome with 5 mins left - never quit on this team
With that said - can we talk about the first 55 mins of the game - SLOPPY
We need to play better hockey for 60 minutes - I can't watch that many shorthanded 2 on 0 or 2 on 1's
Mangiapane getting a bit too comfortable out there on the first goal as well
This is far too talented of a team to be coming back from behind night in and night out!
Also: CHUCKY!!!

Looking like him and Lindholm these days. Maybe they should be top line?

The Yotes managed to score on a couple glaring mistakes - one by Mangiapane and one by Brodie. The third was a mistake by Hanifin and maybe a bit of an open far side for Rittic. But other than that I thought the teams were even. The Flames were somewhat snakebit on some golden opportunities - Janko’s breakaway, Gio’s slot attempt, Bennett’s open net.
To some degree a game between a tired Yotes team and a team returning from a seriously tough road trip was gonna be like this.

Nice observation when I first rendered it out I thought the same thing, a mistake I made.

Tkachuk will likely hit 200 career points before the end of the month, which just seems insane to me. Wasn't he just drafted, like, yesterday?
192 and counting after tonight's three-point effort. He notched his 80th career goal tonight with his ninth of the year and I think 100 career goals should be well within reach for this year.
