Well. If Bridge can throw for 200 yards in a half of football I hope Zach can deliver a W.

See you at McMahon Bombers, deliver me a birthday present that will make the cold weather worth it.

The key thing is it looked like no injuries
Sopik left and didnt return and Peck didnt play many snaps after he hurt his back either.

Other than that though it was injury free.

There was no film on Bridge just like there was no film on Zach the week before. At this part of the season your playbook isn't getting bigger, its getting smaller, you've picked what works.

With a week of preparation and the Bomber's coming to Calgary I like the matchup of our coaching staff versus yours.

Early forecast shows cloudy and -6. Great football weather. Go Stamps!

Sure, as you should. I put Calgary as 4 point favourites right , but that number shrinks a bit if the forecast is going to stick to -10 with snow.

There's no reason that the Stampeders, at home, should lose to Winnipeg with the Bombers on their 3rd string, a battered and largely rusty AF Zach Collaros. But so what? They're my team, I love them with all my heart. They piss me off sometimes and make me crazy with anger.. but it's how I feel sports. Go Bombers!

Trying to predict weather in this city 8 days out is a fools errand.

Could be +6 or -26.....look next Saturday and it will be closer.

2nd place...

Boy that season opening loss to Ottawa really came back to haunt.

Not to mention 0-2 vs the Als.

Ah well, can't finish 1st every year I guess.

The fact that this team had not only massive turnover, but huge injuries to the receiving core and the front 7 and the best starting QB in the CFL and they would finish 12-6 is a testament to the resiliency of this team. They're also going in with pretty low expectations even though this is a home Grey Cup game, with the Riders and Hamilton as huge favors.

Bo missed six games and they still finished 2nd and had a chance to win the West on the last day of the season.

Best organization in the league.

No argument from me. Class of the league since Huf took over and it's not even close.

And thats despite blowing 2 Grey Cups and essentially another first place finish in the west this year.

As much as I'd like to believe the Riders are favorites I just don't see it. Stamps are in the best position to go through the West. Hamilton will be tough for whoemever makes it.

I suspect Fajardo comes back for the final but a couple hard hits and he'll be off his game or done. If they can protect him for the full 60 it will be a good game, but that's a tall order.

This has been a mediocre year all around, maybe that's a good thing and all the playoff games will be close and hardfought.

Assuming Calgary advances, it should be close but you never know. I’d say Riders win close on or Stamps win by 14 or more.

Stamps have edge in experience but have lots of injuries. Riders have a good balanced attack but rookie QB. Both teams have solid D that could change the game. I know stamps have had some special teams issues but I don’t see a lot of separation there.

Weather, Fajardo being healthy and home field could all play their part as well.

If Bombers win, I have no idea what happens. They seem like the ultimate Jekyll and Hyde team to me. And Collaros is a real wildcard.

If the Riders play Calgary I’m taking the Stamps, and I’m not a fan of either.

That's not horrible for November, but unfortunately under the threshold for the average family and fair weather fan. Should be a small turnout playoff wise.

Very true. I have found at McMahon that a November crowd of 20,000 makes more noise and at the right times than 30,000 in July

Attending a stampeders playoff game at McMahon in November is a true calgary experience. Even better if it is cold and snowy. Can’t wait for next weekend.

Has Edmonton written all over it, I don't think Jason survives.
Ottawa would be better off dumping Marcel as well.
