Tampa receives 21 7th if any of the following occur:

1. Domingue plays seven or more regular-season games for the Devils in 2019-20
2. Domingue plays at least one playoff game for the Devils in 2020
3. Domingue is traded by the Devils before the 2020 NHL Entry Draft

He was Tampa's backup last season. Cleared waivers earlier.

There's suggestions he demanded a trade out of Arizona. And frankly, when a team trades you for a conditional 7th, that's them saying "go away, and do not darken our door again."

A lot of smoke around a guy who's career outlook has never really been higher than "career backup" and is now looking more like AHL tweener.
