2-0 Florida 2 minutes into the 2nd.

Smith hurt himself making a save at the end of the 1st, but is still in net.

I think it's 2 goals on 2 shots to start the 2nd. Ekblad and Boyle with great patience.

3-0!

Another shot goes through Smith. Yikes.

Feel bad as his kids are in the crowd for the afternoon game, and he's pulled.

Ethan Bear skated right in front of Smith as Acciari was shooting. Great defensive strategy to screen your own goalie.

3 goals on 3 shots. Mikey doesn’t like it and gets the yank.

Good to see the crack medical staff in still employed up there. Maybe if they find some different dirt to rub on it, it will heal better.

Meh, its just Smith being his usual selfish self and trying to "play through an injury"

I noticed the goal time stamps so I went and watched the beginning of that 2nd period for my own enjoyment.

Typical smith goals.

1st: Ekblad shoots from the top of the circle on a zone entry and Mike Smith is middle of his crease for some reason. Beats him easily.

2nd: Smith goes down on a broken play with zero chance at a shot being taken. Is on the goal line against his post, Boyle just skates around him. Beats him easily.

3rd: fly by screen, but smiths skates are still tyke level deep in his crease. I can’t stand his playing style.

Yeah, the first one was bad positioning, but that happens.

The 2nd one was him doing the belly flop just the worst - I do not miss that!

The 3rd one he was down on his knees and made himself small. Should never have happened.

That bit where Remenda was trying to make their crazy shooting percentages a positive, was pure gold though!

Rest of team - 5%

Sure that likely to improve, but when you have 3 guys above 20%, those guys are likely to drop too. Actually, scratch that, they aren’t merely likely to drop, they WILL drop.

2:05 actually, but the announcers keep saying 1:05 for some reason.

Did they just say something about trying Chiasson on the PP1 instead of James Neal?

Except Neal was on the ice, and it looks like the goal went off his leg for his 10th goal

You know you're on a heater when you come in with a 28% shooting percentage and you score a goal that someone else tips and it hits your leg and goes in.

That was Neal’s goalscoring method last year FWIW.
