You could see Lowry see the opportunity to hammer Kylington a few seconds before it happened, taking a few strides to him, and he still followed through.

Remember the refs can instantly review 5 minute major calls and have the ability to reduce it to just a 2 minute if they deem it appropriate.
Seems like an easy way to call the 5 minute major on first look when it comes to really dangerous plays like that.
