Given his history it's probably a good thing for him personally to land with a good organization that's got some leadership. I don't see how it benefits him to go to a mess like the Dolphins, Bengals, Jets, etc just so they can spin him into a compensatory pick.

Anything is possible and as good as they have been defensively, the Pats haven't exactly been great offensively this season but I don't see that prediction ending well. I'm not exactly sure why any Browns player would be guaranteeing wins against any team right now let alone the Patriots. I wouldn't be happy if I was the head coach but I sense that coaching is part of the problem also in Cleveland.

They lead the entire league in points scored.

They're tenth in total yards per game, which is still very good.
Their defense is unreal this year though, which is helping out with the points per game.

Oh no question they are getting short fields (which also contributes to total yards) but they are still a top 5 team in passing though they have struggled with the ground game at times.
They really dont have a problem scoring points very often though.

They've also played one of the worst 7 game stretches of teams we'll ever see. Alabama playing SW Louisiana A&M State Institute of Tech Community College thinks their schedule has been weak so far.

True...though i dont think that the Browns really move the needle on that metric either.
I mean I hope Cleveland wins, but guaranteeing it? Ballsy.

It's the Browns, they'll probably jump out to a 28-0 lead and lose 49-38.

Yeah. Obviously they're an elite team...but if this is college ball, the argument could be made to leave them out of the 4 team playoff based on strength of schedule to this point.

Brady's stats are lower than I can remember in some time. They aren't terrible relative to the rest of the league but for instance his completion percentage, YPA, and QBR are worse than Derek Carr and to put that in perspective Carr has faced much better opposition (Vikings, Packers, Colts, Chiefs). He had one of his worst games ever against the Bills this season there are definitely signs of decline but given his age it's still amazing he can play at this level but the whispers of him retiring are probably due to him realizing things are slipping. It's one of those things that I'm not a Pats fan but part of me would not like to see him play too long and finish on a low point.

He also has the worst choice of targets he has ever had.
They really miss Gronk.

No argument here. That offense has always been centered around quick passing to the slot receiver, TE, and RB. The lack of a threat at TE has made a difference for sure but Gronk was oft injured so they managed okay without him before. I think they are a little down on overall talent on offense in general and Gordon hasn't been the same player for whatever reason. That said the way that defense is playing the offense really only has to be good not great.

I was supposed to be in Minneapolis for the game tonight. Change of plans. Too bad. Would have been neat to see Peterson back in town.

You would have missed Keenum trying to use a bounce pass for a TD.

Atlanta looked like the West Coast team that is half asleep on this last play. Doubt Metcalf will have an easier TD catch in the rest of his days. Right now it's only a matter of when Dan Quinn gets fired. Will Blank keep him till like week 14 or release him earlier?

Well, they're playing pretty great now. About to get it to a one score game after being down 24 at the half. Freeman just fumbled but that should be overturned as it came out as he hit the ground.
EDIT: lol ok apparently not.
