This game irks me. The flames have played a good game and played well enough to win, still can't seem to find a way to get on top. Instead they keep tripping over their own feet on the way to a loss. Without any legit secondary scoring threat, teams, especially good ones who have top level shut down lines (ie more than. 1), can cycle those two lines against the Flames top line.

It’s a broken record but this team needs a second legit scoring line.

I’m not sure how to answer this. Because they have 2 goals in 56 minutes they can’t come out with desperation in the last 4, without throwing the game away?

It was a one off. Got some flashes of chemistry, and a pretty pathetic division to complete against.

Over 10% of the year done, and this team looks nothing like last year.

I think we saw an attempt by peters today to take some jabs at the team to rile tgem uo, particularly the first line. Didn't work. They are usually hemmed in 5 on 5,and just look out of sync.

This is a wild card team, an average team, in the thick of their 'window'. Mediocre franchise remains mediocre.
