I know what you're saying but that is not exactly true. When they flashed the vote totals, it only added up to about 7 or 8 million. I realize not all votes have been counted yet, but is turnout that abysmal?

I suppose. I just think it is ridiculous that the person who gets the majority of the people's votes is going to lose this badly.

I don't hate the riding values. It makes for a more efficient democracy in terms of campaigning.
I just don't like how Alberta and Saskatchewan are always seemingly undervalued on a per-person basis.
2.3M Atlantic Canadians with 32 Federal seats have basically cancelled out Alberta’s 34 Federal Seats and the population of 4.3M people

Completely agree with this.
Liberals at 160... wow definitely didn't see this coming. Hope it isn't a majority after all

Your seeing it on here. It's ok if Trudeau does it, because how I see my values aligned with a political party either excuses or in excuses a candidate.

I know you're likely jesting (and being a way better sport about this than 90% of the people I know), but it's this kind of message that is upsetting and divisive.
My candidate didn't come anywhere CLOSE to winning, but I definitely don't consider performing a civic right and duty a waste of time.
We're all waking up Canadians tomorrow.

The fact that a country can have a party in 2nd in popular vote to have 40 more seats than the party with the most votes in the country is a total embarrassment to this country.
For comparison, in 2006 when Harper won his first minority government, the popular vote spread was 6%.

If I'm Trudeau I play it like a Harper minority. Vote by vote.

So Trudeau approves it twice, bought it, is totally dedicated to the pipeline according to you...but also according to you he might kill it now because no liberals were elected here and it hurt his feelings? How does that make sense. The liberals have ####ed us over with two other pipelines and two damaging pieces of legislation. That’s why no ones voting for him and if he kills TMX he’s gonna have a bigger problem on his hands.
