Smarten the #### up, CPC. You know the Liberal playbook... we all know the Liberal playbook... why choose a leader who would be susceptible to those attacks?

####ing morons.

It's such a self fulfilling prophecy. Trudeau has been doing and saying all the right things with respect to Trans Mountain and his reward was losing every single seat to the Conservatives because Albertans believe a ridiculous conspiracy theory that Trudeau approved the pipeline (twice) and then bought it but never intended to have it constructed...So why would the Liberals go to bat for Alberta at all next election? Ironically that belief might cost us Trans Mountain if they need to work with NDP to form a majority coalition.

We have Quebec guzzling money from other provinces, no federal party giving a damn about Alberta, and the BQ caring only for their "nation". B.C. is hell bent on killing our most valuable industries. And then there is the never ending indigenous issues.

When I say this country is broken that's not hyperbole or anger it's the sad truth.

I don't bother with CBC anymore, they're a infomercial for the Libs, that we pay a billion bucks for.

I'm sure that they're going to get a nice boost in funding as a thank you.

When will the Conservatives learn to stop with the social conservative bull####? How about coming up with a platform earlier, and something that isn’t based entirely on cutting the living hell out of all social services?

I’m also kind of laughing at this notion that the conservatives would actually do anything for Alberta. They don’t give a #### about us, they take us for granted.

Yep. For starters it erases the tried and true Liberal attack strategies.

She is from the Glebe which is one of the most left wing ridings in the country.

1 in 10 Canadians voted for them. They should be treated as real.

The problem is really "us" though. "We" could have voted in the CPC leadership election instead we let it get taken over by religious zealots who propped up a bigot to the leadership.

If the Conservatives ditched the socially backwards agenda and focused entirely on fiscal responsibility, they'd never lose an election.

10 years of Harper, one majority, no pipeline. A Scheer minority wasn't doing a thing.

It's not like CBC is your only coverage option. I've been switching back & forth between Global and CTV throughout the evening.
